A Closer Look Inside The Dior Homme S/S20 Showroom
A few days ago, Kim Jones presented his latest collection for Dior Homme for S/S20. Continuing his collaborative partnerships with established artists, Jones teamed up with longtime friend Daniel Arsham for this latest collection. Arsham, who is known for his “future relics” pieces sculpted from materials such as volcanic ash, quartz, and concrete- reimagined the Dior logo out of eroded concrete with exposed quartz which connects the history of the house to the futuristic world that Arsham foresees. In addition to the collaboration with Arsham, Rimowa teamed up with Dior for a range of aluminum cases embossed in a gradient oblique logo pattern. The range includes a baccarat champagne case, a roller cabin-plus suitcase, and a variety of colored shoulder bags.
The FMF team was able to get exclusive access to the Dior Homme showroom in Paris for the upcoming S/S 20 collection. The collection expands upon the popular footwear options as well as introduces new collaborations with Rimowa & Daniel Arsham.
