Grailed 100 just changed the game

The legendary menswear resale site Grailed.com just released 100 archival pieces that they curated just for this event. This is how the guys over Grailed HQ described Grailed 100 :

"Launching for A/W16, the Grailed 100 is the first in a series of curated archive sales showcasing the premier pieces from designers and brands beloved by the Grailed community. Featuring Rick Owens, Raf Simons, Saint Laurent, Undercover, Supreme and more, this collection of 100 pieces has been carefully selected by our team and is now available to you.

All items are 1-of-1 and available for sale using our offer-based system. Our goal is to provide the clothing we love to our fellow enthusiasts at the best possible prices. We ask that you are thoughtful and respectful with your offers. Please do not re-list anything purchased from the Grailed 100 on the site for at least one month."

Most of these beloved items sold for really great prices. For example a Helmut Lang Astro Parka, which usually lists for over 1,000 dollars, sold for a very generous 500. Luckily, one of my friends scooped it up.

Archival fashion has become very prominent because of the exclusivity that revolves in the fashion world. Having rare vintage designer garments definitely will set you apart from your swagless homies. Grailed has recognized that aspect of fashion, and they are capitalizing off of that, but they are also giving us fashion nerds a chance to cop our beloved "grails" for good prices.
