Kaws to ReIsssue "Passing Through" Companion

Today, Kaws will be reissuing his popular "Passing Through" Companion, which originally released in 2013. The new variation features an 8-Inch tall stature while the 2013 version was originally 12 inches in height. While Kaws has announced that this latest release is, in fact, an "Open Edition," which means there is no set # known to the public. While it could be limited to 50 it could also be up to 5,000 units. By doing this Kaws is hoping to deter resellers and just attract those who actually just love the piece as his caption below suggests. With the 2013 version of the "Passing Through" Companion reaching resale values of $3,400 or better, you can expect this latest drop from Kaws to be one of the most anticipated yet. The drop is set to go live today at 12 PM EST on kawsone.com, with fingers crossed no web glitches or crashes as soon as you hit checkout.

Tomorrow we are releasing a new 8” tall version of PASSING THROUGH on kawsone.com at noon (Sept. 5th, 12PM EST). It’s an open edition like the recent TOGETHER and BFF figures.
