Recess Studios Launches Collection 2

Following their first collection in January, Recess Studios returns with a summer-oriented collection chock-full of classic wardrobe staples. On the surface, the second collection seems like a departure from the first season, but the design process remains consistent with an emphasis on functionality. Drawing inspiration from the effortless and lightweight attire suitable for the summer season, Recess Studios describes their second collection:

“Without much effort, summer sparks some of our dearest memories. Each day of these playful months comes in a moment and forces us to be present. We hold on tight to each glimpse of the golden sky before we’re back in the throes of winter. Summerland should remind us to be human. To see, feel touch. To be aware. To breathe.”

Featured are shorts, short-sleeve button-ups, an overshirt, and an assortment of graphic tees and accessories. The materials for each item were carefully selected to reflect the golden hours of summer days. All items in the collection were made by hand from start to finish in Portland, OR.
