Release Reminder: Casablanca x New Balance 327

The highly anticipated release date of the Casablanca x New Balance “Tennis Club” collaboration is around the corner. The shoes were initially shown at Casablanca’s Fall/Winter 2020 show during Paris Fashion Week and quickly garnered acclaim from many in the fashion industry. Casablanca’s creative director, Charaf Tajer, was able to work with the brand new 327 model that references 70s running shoes, like the Nike Bermuda and Tailwind, for the collaboration. 

Casablanca is well known for its ability to create luxurious, colorful sportswear pieces that embody elegance and exudes Parisian cool. Tajer’s French-Moroccan heritage has been infused into the brand’s identity and this collaboration with New Balance is no different. The shoes will be available in both a bright orange and a dark green colorway, which are inspired by Moroccan sweet oranges and tennis uniforms. The premium suede, buttery leather base, and refined detailing make this one of the best sneakers of the year so far.
