Runway: RHUDE F/W 19

Rhuigi Villaseñor, founder and principal designer of RHUDE recently unveiled the brand’s Fall/Winter delivery for 2019. Amongst returning signature pieces such as the coveted “Traxedo” pants and staple distressed denim, Rhuigi introduces new ideas and further teased the release of their inaugural footwear line, displaying both high and low cut silhouettes in plush premium materials. Aptly named the “Horsepower” collection, the ties to classic American military and workwear garments takes center stage once again, with smatterings of motorsports-inspired attire (most notably, the racing jacket & trousers) that lives up to the name of the collection. Rhuigi presents winter season essentials with his signature twists and turns, the textural diversity and juxtaposition of garments provided against a backdrop of recognizable signature silhouettes. Plaid is seen against camo, suede against leather, tailoring against workwear typify the designer's ability to mix it up. Outerwear is definitely a highlight, with standouts including the Sherpa-lined Plaid Dad Coat and the Sherpa-lined Quilted Harness Vest. Be sure to check out all the looks below and stay tuned with an estimated time to hit stores between September-November 2019.
