Runway: Dior Homme F/W 19

Ever since Kim Jones took over the role as creative director of Dior Homme, he has taken the brand from a traditional namesake to one of the hottest brands in fashion, especially with the enlistment of Yoon Ahn & Matthew Williams. Jones has made great use of using artist themed collections which helps tie in the reference points as well as the lifestyle entities that the artists, as well as the brand, align with. His inaugural collection for S/S 19 featured a collaboration with Kaws & his most recent show in Japan for Pre-Fall 19 featured a collaboration with Japanese artist, Hajime Sorayama. For F/W 19 Jones enlisted the help of artist Raymond Pettibon, whose work can be seen in the intricate souvenir style graphics throughout the collection. It creates an interesting juxtapose of fashion & art that has set a precedent & is in touch with the current trends. Continuing with the same formula as seasons before, Jones presented a futuristic & militant collection for F/W 19.

The highlights of the show were the tactical vests with the Alyx style roller coaster hardware, the Pettibon silk bomber jacket, and in pure Dior style, the classic suiting throughout the collection. Be sure to swipe through our favorite looks below.
