Release Reminder: The Jordan 3 "Seoul"

With Jordan Brand putting out some fire 3's lately with the likes of the Free Throw, JTH, and the classic Black Cement 3 you wouldn't think they would have anything else up their sleeves. Well if you're a sneakerhead or just a fan of the Jordan 3, it looks like Nike is going to be asking you to dig into your savings account once again. Releasing on March 10th, The Air Jordan 3 “Seoul” will be releasing via nike.com.kr, as well as the Jordan Hongdae store. The "Seoul" 3 commemorates Michael Jordan's 1988 Slam Dunk Contest victory as well as the city that hosted the Summer Olympic games. As you glance over the shoe you can see a lot of the inspiration brought forth from the Taegukgi (Korean flag). The “Taeguk” symbol is patched on the front of the tongue followed by blue, red and white coloring to bring remembrance of peace and purity. “서울” (Seoul) is stitched in the left inner tongue while the 1988 summer games motto “화합과 전진” (Harmony and Progress) is embroidered on the right inner tongue. Be sure to stay tuned for more details as the days get closer to release day.
