WTB: Rick Owens Mastodon Adidas
When I saw them on the runway, I didn't know how I felt about them... But now that they are hitting retailers, I realized how bad I need these. Rick Owen's Adidas collabs have always been popular, but this one is the most Adidas I have ever seen in a Rick collab. Rick has always used other shoes as inspiration, considering Ramones look like converse on steroids and not to mention the original Dunks looked like a Nike sneaker. These are no different. Rick beefed up these superstar mids into a dope ass sneaker. Like really there isn't much to them, but that is why I think they are so good. They are very wearable and if you are a Rick Owens fan like me, its always nice to have a good staple Rick shoe just to throw on with a basic outfit. The thing I genuinely love about this sneaker, is that they pay homage to the original Adidas Superstars, as well as that fat sole Rick Owens is known for. But forreal these are very easy to wear, just not with fucking blue jeans. Rick shorts, trousers, black jeans, or hell even a Rick Owens suit would look baller. Like it or not, the latest Rick Owen's Adidas are straight heat and I am planning on taking out a small loan to scoop these (nah I'm just going to save up for them, debt is not responsible or cool).
