OAK SS17' NYFWM Presentation
Oak NYC is such a staple to New York's fashion scene. After gaining back ownership from American Apparel, Oak presented its first collection under their own ownership on Day 1 of NYFWM. Oak has been dressing New Yorkers in black leather jackets and darker athletic looks for years. This collection featured more of that NYC urban life that they are so known for. From leather jacket inspired shorts to cropped pants, Oak had a very diverse show. I was very impressed with their model selection for the show. They had a nice diversity of models that all had very unique looks, which of course represents New York City very well. The clothing also offered a couple different looks, while staying cohesive as a collection. The all white line up style room backed by a DJ and free drinks made this show one of the better ones of the day. Be sure to check out some of the photos we got at Oak's SS17' presentation below.
