Our Top Five Picks from this week's Supreme Drop (5/12/16)
Better get your excuses ready for why your bank account is empty again! It's everyone's favorite weekly holiday, aka Supreme Thursdays. I know some of you Supreme team insiders have been hearing about the HUGE upcoming collabs, such as the North Face pt. 2, CDG, and as well as the Amsterdam streetwear brand PATTA. Sadly none of these collabs are dropping this week, so you hypelames will have to be patient for those. However, this Thursday brings us one of the more subtle and less hyped collabs with Clarks as well as some other dope shit. So save your fake doctors notes, and if you are a serious delinquent, and you skip your finals for this (we do not recommend) here are the five items from this week's drop that you need to scoop.
#5- The Terry Shorts
Now I know you black jean wearing fiends might be afraid to show off your legs, but Supreme got you with these shorts. They feature subtle Supreme branding on the back that is not made for stunting, unless you like showing your ass off like that (do you fam) . The color options for these are pretty lit, but my personal favorites are the vibrants orange pair. So stop being a pussy and cop some shorts.
#4- The Supreme x Clarks Collab
A Supreme and Clarks collab is nothing new, and is pretty much is a seasonal occurrence. The Clark is a simple shoe that can be worn at all of the stages of ones life. You can cop a pair and so can your Dad, it's pretty sweet. As usual Clarks and Supreme killed this one.
#3- The Denim Vest
Yoooo this is one of my personal favorites of the season. I think this is one of the pieces that has the most ability to cross over into the realm of high fashion. You can dress it down with a tee and some nice denim, or you can dress it up with a turtleneck and some boots ( Fall/ Winter), or you can say fuck it and wear nothing under it like a complete savage. No matter what look you go for, this piece is a banger.
#2- The Nylon Ripstop Pullover
Now for my real Supreme Veterans reading this, you know where this is taking inspiration from. This piece is pretty much an exact copy of the coveted Supreme x Public Enemy collab (One of my favorite Supreme collabs of all time). Made popular by the infamous Ian Connor, the Public Enemy pullover consistently sells for over a rack ($1,000 for all of you unhip homies).
