Siki Im was without a doubt one of the most interesting shows that presented at NYFW: Men's last week. This show honestly looked like no other show that I attended, so Siki Im managed to stay completely true to itself while still putting on an amazing show that left each guest satisfied in a way no other show could. The guests list was pretty impressive and included Nick Wooster, who I'm sure you all know and love.

The collection itself was called “Undead,” so it was rich in unsettling makeup, fog, lights, and crazy music. The show started with a ton of fog creeping out from the models’ entrance, working its way toward the press pit, and even spilled from all around the walkway and where the guests were seated. Directly after the fog creeped out, the blaring music began which elevated the already intense energy within the venue. The lights were also timed to beat of the music and the models' walks which again, added an insane element to the show. Then the first model came out, and I thought he was mouthless, but he really just had black paint running from is mouth. I thought that aspect might have been just for the opening look, but a vast majority of the models had makeup in a range of colors that was meant to look like liquid gushing out of their mouths, ears, noses, and eyes so they all looked as if they crawled out of their respective graves.

The clothing was very much centered around draping and attempting to incorporate high fashion with streetwear, and I think the brand nailed it. Overall, the collection lacked color and featured prominently black, aside from the colorful face-paint. However, the brand did use two accent colors in order to break up the monotony of the black, a deep maroon and a rusty orange which are common colors for fall.

While draping and oversized garments were prominent, the dope outerwear was most definitely the highlight of the show. The outerwear featured included long, deconstructed jackets, double zipped hoodies, diagonal zip crew necks (which is by far my favorite piece), and long collarless coats. Keep your eye out for this brand to hit stores because I promise you'll want to add it to your fall wardrobe in one way or another.
