WTB: Dior Napoleon Coat
This week's WTB is one of Hedi Slimane's most coveted jackets ever assembled. The "Napoleon Coat," is from Hedi Slimane's Dior Homme AW 2003 collection entitled "Luster." For any real Hedisexual, you will know Luster is one of Hedi's best seasons in terms of design. This jacket encapsulates that very thought because of how fucking insane this thing is. To start, the base of the coat is a very thick structured wool that fits one's body impeccably. I can't stress enough how good the fit and structure is on any Hedi Slimane Dior era coat. But what really makes this thing "one grail to rule them all," has to be the attention to details that lies within this coat. It features crazy shoulder detailing that makes you look anime as fuck, which is always something you should aspire to, right? It also features the same insane detailing at the wrists, which is great because it looks like you might be able to kill someone if you backhanded them. When it comes down to it, this has to be one of the greatest coats ever assembled and has the price point to match that statement. It is listed on Grailed for a cool $15,000, which isn't like a years rent or anything right? Fuck a 401k, just buy this shit so you can wear it once and the other 90% of the time you can display it in your house and flex on all your guests you invite over.
