Kanye won’t be the only member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan to join the renowned designers featured at New York Fashion Week. It’s no news that Kendal and Kylie have made strides in the fashion industry seeing as they have placed their names on lines with Topshop and PacSun previously, and I think we’ve all heard of their own personal line that is their first standalone clothing collection. What some of us might now yet know is that their new line will indeed be a part of the next New York Fashion Week.

Creatively titled “Kendall + Kylie,” we got first got notice of their collection 33 weeks ago when a new Instagram popped up that featured sketches of clothing and Kendall and Kylie frolicking amongst racks of clothing with captions such as, “Dreams in progress…” and “It’s happening…:”- I think they were trying to be allusive? But it was really quite obvious as to what was going on. Confirmed only a few days ago, Kendall and Kylie will be premiering their line on February 8th at the upcoming New York Fashion week.

Personally, I’m not sure how I feel about this yet. It’s fantastic news for anyone to make it to fashion week, but a part of me feels as if their only success is because of their name. From what I’ve seen of the collection thus far via Instagram, I personally am not impressed or in love with any piece I’ve seen. That being said, I’m not sure that will matter when it comes to the success of the line. Because it’s the notorious Kendall and Kylie, the line is sure to sell quickly and be the talk of literally everything.
