"Tomorrow is D-Day in the sneaker community, as Kanye West's latest footwear creation is set to hit the marketplace. And if you've been sleeping on this release even a little bit, then you're most likely getting that sinking feeling in your stomach that comes along with knowing you're probably already too late. After all, Adidas's Reserved app, meant to control and democratize the frenzy, sold out of its stock yesterday in about ten seconds. Meanwhile, most raffles held at local malls happened on Wednesday. But fear not, there's hope for you yet, so long as you're willing to follow a few simple steps. May Yeezus have mercy on your soul.

1. Here's a list of stores that will be releasing the $200 shoes in the United States tomorrow, and have not already conducted raffles/giveaways:

Adidas.com/kanye
Champs Sports l (select locations)
City Gear Portland
Dover Street Market (online)
Eastbay (online)
Finish Line (online)
Foot Locker (online and select locations)
Jimmy Jazz New York (in-store and online)
Mr Porter.com
Opening Ceremony New York (in-store)
Villa (online)
Xhibition Cleveland (enter raffle here)

2. Wake Up (Early)

If you party all night and snooze until noon, your Yeezy dreams will be crushed faster than you can say "Swish." If you're planning on waiting in line, then, well, you may have to be reading this post while waiting in said line. So it's best to go the online route. Most of these releases happen between 8:00 and 10:00 A.M..

3. Check Your Internet Connection

Call the cable company and make sure you've got the highest of high-speed connections. When thousands of ravenous customers all crash a website, even the smallest fraction of a megabyte can make the difference.

4. Don't Put All Your Eggs in One Browser

Start a couple different browsers and open a few tabs on each (loading up too many tabs on one browser could backfire). Make sure any potentially computer-slowing softwares are closed. You want your computer to be at top speed to beat those unworthy other customers to the checkout.

5. Use the Buddy System

If you really want these shoes, increase your odds by telling some friends and family to try their best to get them at the same time you are. But don't inundate them with tons of information, because chances are they don't care. Simply send them a link, a specific time, the size you would like, and your credit card information.

6. Speaking of Which, Make Sure Your Credit Card Info is Out and Ready to Cop

You don't want to be the idiot who gets the sneakers in his cart only to realize you can't find your wallet. If it makes it easier, write all of the info out on a piece of paper in big numbers so you don't accidentally mistake an 8 for a 6.

7. Resist the Urge to Refresh

Once any of these links go live, understand that even the biggest of websites will be slow (looking at you, Adidas.) But the way these systems work is in order, so all refreshing will do is kick you to the back of the line. Be patient, hold your place, and make attempts to add your size to your cart about once every minute. Rapid fire clicking isn't going to do you any favors.

8. Or, don't do any of this, sleep in, wait till these kicks hit the aftermarket, and pick them up for $500+ tomorrow afternoon.

The choice is yours. Good luck! "
