I’m sure by now you’ve all seen or heard of OutfitGrid on Instagram as it’s super famous and features a ton of awesome brands. I’m here to tell you that I have something even better that you should focus your attention on ASAP.

Have you ever tried to take an OutfitGrid and there’s just a ton of pressure to get your fit laid out perfectly and make sure everything lines up? Thanks to OutfitToss, that’s no longer necessary. Started by @JakeMcMillan literally about a week ago, "OutfitToss is a new movement that is pioneering a different way to showcase your daily fits. The central theme is to toss your outfit into a photo to sum up your outfit of the day." In briefly speaking to Jake, he strived to stress the fact that the "overall idea has obviously been done by many others" in reference to OutfitGrid, but then stated that "Dennis, the owner of OutfitGrid, is one of [his] role models and [Jake] definitely looks up to him." However, Jake is "putting [his] own spin on the concept and adding a more messy look to the appearance [of the account]. Instead of displaying the entire outfit and keeping it neatly folded, OutfitToss displays the outfit tossed into a square showing the main details in every piece." 

Essentially, the pictures are a lot more close up than the grid, so instead of incapsulating the entirety of every article of clothing, it focuses on the details. Because you can't see every inch of every piece, the account makes sure to tag each piece with the brand and include it in the description. 

The best part of this entire account? The brands they feature. In less than a week, they've featured Fear of God, Off White, Acne Studios, CDG, Adidas Originals, Mr. Completely, Common Projects, and Saint Laurent. It's an awesome account to follow for daily inspiration on how to wear the brands that you already know and love. 

Lastly- the account takes submissions and because it's fairly new, I'd jump on it while you can! Just post a photo on your Instagram with the hashtag #OutfitToss to submit and you might see your fit on the newest, most creative, up and coming fashion account Instagram has to offer.
