Store Feature: Mr. Saturday Opens Ephemeral Flagship in Toronto
Toronto-based designer and friend of FMF, Joey Gollish of Mr. Saturday has opened his first retail location the Ephemeral Flagship - this past month at 950 Queen St West in Toronto. Blurring the line between gallery and retail, the store and showroom space offers a personalized, by-appointment and COVID-safe shopping experience. The showroom gallery features Mr. Saturday and supporting brands to provide an unparalleled retail experience, using a touchscreen selection system to create a personalized experience while minimizing contact with garments. Downstairs, you’ll find “The Dept. of Research and Records,” a water bar and a selection of gift shop items, set in an ambient, atmospheric lounge. Mr. Saturday’s New York Fashion Week women's Spring/Summer 2021 runway presentation for the CFDA Runway360 platform was held in the Ephemeral Flagship in September. The designer’s retail and showroom space is a reflection of this generation and world where women never confine themselves to a single look or identity. This women's collection does the same with and for them. The Mr. Saturday Ephemeral Flagship represents a new “normal” shopping experience that is elevated, personalized, and socially distant, located at 950 Queen St West in Toronto.
