A$AP MOB references Raf Simons A/W 1995 & S/S 02' in latest music video "RAF"

A$AP MOB just released a music video for their recent #coolteen smash single "RAF." A$AP Rocky has always been a fan of Raf's work dating back to the Pe$o days, it was only a matter of time until a track was dedicated to him. With the resurgence of archive fashion within the Grailed community, it seems this video was made for the modern day menswear junkie. If the resale value of archive Raf Simons wasn't already high enough, this video is bound to cause an increase in the market. The theme of the video could not have been put together more correctly. Each part of the video referenced a different Raf Simons presentation- S/S 02' at the beginning, but mainly A/W 95-96, in which the presentation was video taped in an all white room. Our good friends at Grailed loaned out many pieces from their extensive archive for the filming of this video-including the orange turtle neck sweater and the famed PCL parka. All in all the video and song is relatable to all of us in the men's fashion game in some aspect. I was really happy to see the video done in a way that was authentic and true to Raf as a creative. Be sure to check out the video and the reference pieces A$AP MOB used in the filming of "RAF."
