Diesel, quickly becoming the new face of democratized fashion, ushered in SS23 with a public presentation which showcased the brand’s newest take on artisinal denim. 3,000 spectators watched creative director Glenn Martens unwind his innovative vision, replete with experimental knitwear, utility belts, the much-desired 1DR bag and denim galore. The world’s largest inflatable structure and butt-plug invitations served as additional hallmarks of Diesel’s positioning among the labels leading the charge in experimental and inclusive fashion but Martens himself summed it up best - "I wanted to open Diesel up to the public, for people who may never have been to a fashion show before. They deserve a spectacle, so we’ve broken the record for the biggest inflatable sculpture in the world. It’s what I believe about the fashion and the state of mind - everybody can be part of Diesel.”
