FMF Last-Minute Holiday Gift Guide
Admit it.
You’re panicking because you just remembered you still need to shop for holiday gifts. Don’t worry, so are we. That’s why all of us here at FMF put together this last-minute holiday gift guide. From candles to Celine fragrance, you’ll find something here for everyone on your list, or at least find some inspiration. And maybe next year you’ll start thinking about this earlier.
What was the word you heard most this year? For me, it was “vibe”. “Vibe check”, “you know the vibes”, so on and so forth. With that, I predict that this next year will be defined by curating the vibe in one’s personal space, and scents are the easiest way to engage that. The nose knows, you know?
Malin + Goetz Candle
Olfactory science is nothing new to M+G, and both their colognes and candles will turn heads, or noses, in your direction (speaking from experience). Does your recipient wear all black, own more than one pair of +$1000 boots, or ride any type of bipedal, motorized vehicle? Get them Leather (my personal favorite). Did they recently stock up on vintage tie-dye shirts to pair with their collection of slouchy tech pants and hype sneakers? Get them Cannabis. You really can’t go wrong here.
Muji Diffuser
An aroma diffuser (paired with an assortment of scented essential oils) lets your giftee create a bespoke scent for their space and invoke their own sense of calm, energy, or a simple refresh. It’s an easy way to set a vibe, or just change the feel of a space through diffusion. I believe the term was, “life enhancing.” Cop one on their site here.
Aesop “The Reveller” Gift Set
Ever walked into an Aesop and squinted as you tried to read all of the components for their meticulously crafted soaps and scents? Same. And that can make it difficult to purchase their natural body products for friends and loved ones. Lucky for us, Aesop has released several new gift sets for the holiday season, each wonderfully assembled with the brand’s bestsellers. The Reveller gift set has everything one needs in order to cleanse and moisturize their cold-ravaged hands and body. The gift set includes Aesop’s Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash, Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm, Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser, Rind Concentrate Body Balm all in a premium case. A perfect kit for any person on your list (or for yourself). You can buy it now on their site.
CELINE Fragrance
The latest installment of Hedi Slimane’s holistic vision at CELINE includes a new range of 9 parfums each inspired by Slimane’s personal olfactory diary. The range includes a mix of day-time and evening scents featuring a powdery patina & a masculine-feminine approach. Our favorites from the line include Black Tie, Parade, Nightclubbing, and Eau De Californie. They come in 2 sizes- 100 ML ($220) and 200 ML ($320) and are the perfect gift for the rockstar in your family.
Bottega Veneta Cardholder
Bottega Veneta’s trademark braid-woven calfskin graces their cardholder in a classic black hue. This cardholder is as timeless as it is representative of Bottega’s endless appeal and makes for the perfect gift for any style-minded individual.
Loewe Scarf
Winter weather calls for an excellent scarf. The bigger the better in most cases. This beautiful gradient wool & mohair scarf from Loewe is a great example of what the ideal gifting scarf looks like. Beautiful yet functional, and can probably double as a small blanket if need be. Treat your giftee to nice accessories - people don’t often purchase these things for themselves. Give the gift of a warm neck and a fire fit this winter.
Retrosuperfuture Sunglasses
When it comes to sunglasses, bolder isn’t always better (especially when it comes to gift-giving). Retrosuperfuture’s Luce 3627 strikes a perfect balance of sophisticated yet casual, making it a solid everyday pair.
Martyre Ring Set
Why gift 1 when you could gift 3? Anwar Hadid’s Martyre makes jewelry with an “emphasis on substance and symbolism”. Their “Pray For Us” ring stack comes in Sterling Silver, Gold, or Rose Gold.
