Vans recently announced its upcoming collaboration with the great Vincent Van Gogh. The collection contains a few different sneakers as well as some apparel which features some of Van Gogh's most iconic artworks. The artwork of choice for the collection includes "The Skull," "Almond Blossom," "Sunflowers," Van Gogh’s self-portrait, as well as the "Old Vineyard with Peasant Woman" is seen on a special edition Old Skool and a Classic Slip-on. Handwritten letters from Van Gogh to his brother Theo can be seen throughout the silhouettes. The sneakers are finished off with custom insoles that have the artists signature brush strokes, the Vans logo, and Van Gogh Museum logo. The collection is set to release August 3rd on Vans.com and select retailers worldwide.
