Enfants Riches Deprimes is back with more thought-provoking graphic tees
Henri Levy's punk-inspired label Enfants Riches Deprimes has become an FMF team favorite due to its aggressive graphics and hand distressed details; it is essentially the perfect lightweight t-shirt that screams luxury and "I don't really care", something that works well for a brand that is titled 'Depressed Rich Kids'. There is a certain twisted darkness to the t-shirts that is able to grab people's attention, while also being slightly provocative enough to make people think deeper. The messages aren't always the clearest, and inversely, are sometimes so obvious that they are kind of obscene, but in the best way.
This new season ERD has brought us even more thought-provoking tees that we have come to love. This new range of tees mixes the obscure and the obvious when it comes to graphic selection. For example, the "Live in Berlin" tee pictured first, is dark and a little bit more obscure with its graphic, while the branding is just simply "Enfants." Other tees such as the "Ultimate Orgasm" long sleeve depicts a girl with a gun to her head, in a kind of fucked up but interesting nod to fetishism. One thing I really love about this new season is that there is less branding, but way more of Henri's artwork infused into the shirts. In addition to the cool artwork is a quality improvement with a price to match. The new season tees are a lighter fabric that feels so light and loose when wearing, however, the new tees fetch anywhere from $435 to in some cases $1,000. The price reflects the artwork, the quality, and, well, because Henri just doesn't give a fuck. Enfants isn't for everyone, and Henri wants it that way. If you want to know a little bit more about Enfants you can check out more here, but for now, check out some of the graphic t-shirts from this season below.
