Virgil Abloh's Off- White Women's collection shows design maturity

Virgil Abloh presented his latest women's collection entitled "Business Woman," in Paris last night with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Frank Ocean in attendance. The new season featured a similar vibe from the last ("A Pretty Woman"), but of course Abloh implemented new styles that showed a maturity in his design. I have always been a fan of Virgil's aesthetic choices since Off-White's inception. This season he has made use of literal labeling which has been really interesting. From his "Invitations" to his water cups at his new Tokyo store , which literally says "Plastic Cup," across each mint green cup. But besides Virgil's labelling obsession, he has really stepped up his design in the women's department. As Off-White grows, we are seeing less signature stripes, and more colors, draping, and overall more technical design. Virgil still of course is a branding genius, but he seems that he wants to evolve Off-White from a streetwear brand to a high-end house that gives nods to streetwear instead. Their was less obvious prints and more subtle branding in this new collection. I am loving the new direction that Virgil is taking Off-White in. He is sending models down the runway in dresses and "Dad caps," which I think is something that should be celebrated. We have selected the best looks from Virgil's latest presentation below.

Abloh referenced the legendary menswear site Four Pins (RIP) on his showroom carpet by quoting Jian Deleon's OG article about Pyrex.

Another interesting aesthetic choice from Virgil Abloh, that makes him the fucking goat.
