"Sweatshirts are F--king Important" - The Best Sweatshirts for this coming Fall. Part 1 Hoodies

As an avid lover of the comfort, warmth, and coziness of a good sweatshirt, I have to strongly agree with Kanye's "Sweatshirts are f--king important" quote. I'm known by my friends as the guy who has an absurd amount of sweatshirts and for the most part, this fall I will be rocking sweatshirts although I will mix it up with other fall outerwear. But for the most part, there isn't a better feeling than throwing on that cozy-ass sweatshirt and walking around the wind tunnel that is New York City. So here are my picks for the best hooded sweatshirts for this up coming fall season

Part 1 - Hoodies:

Fear of God Fourth Collection Everyday Hoodie

This hoodie is what Jerry Lorenzo claims to be the "perfect" hoodie. It features a loose fit and side slits, a dropped shoulder, a kangaroo pocket, and is made of a heavy weight French terry cotton. This hoodie comes in four different colors and is perfect for the fall weather and I personally can't wait for it to hit stores so I can cop. This hoodie is a little pricey, but based on his previous collection, this hoodie will deffinately be worth the price.

Available for pre-order here for $495 or wait till it hits stores next month.

Daniel Patrick Road Hood

If you're looking for a basic hoodie with minor details that pop, Daniel Patrick is your guy. I've personally had the chance to meet, hangout and get dinner with Daniel and I have to say he is one of the most modest and humble designers I've met. But all that aside, you're just buying his clothes, not marrying him. But this hoodie is super good quality for its price point. This hoodie is a nice French terry knit and comes in multiple colors. All of which feature a reverse French terry panel down the middle of the hoodie and reverse French terry sleeves, with a kangaroo pocket on the front. According to Daniel's Twitter account, it has been his best seller this season and in my opinion is a deffinate must cop. If your size isn't available, look out for restocks on the website.

Yeezy Season 1 Basic Hoodie

Incase you live under a rock, Kanye's first collection "Yeezy Season 1" hit stores two weeks ago. Sadly this hoodie has sold out in most places but on the bright side, resell for this collection isn't as high as most people thought it would be. But back to the hoodie. This hoodie really is a "basic" hoodie. The hoodie features an oversized fit but has a very cropped hem (so for all you taller guys like myself it will fit you very short) which is good for layering. The hoodie also features a quarter zip coming down the front from the neckline. My biggest downfall about this hoodie is there is no kangaroo pocket but maybe that's what makes the hoodie "basic"? Anyways, the hoodie is super warm and cozy but comes with a hefty price. If you're a Kanye wannabe then this is the hoodie for you, otherwise I wouldn't get too uptight if you don't have this hoodie.

Purchase for for retail $545 here or look on sites such as grailed.com and eBay.com for resell.

John Elliott + Co Villian Hoodie

John Elliott has fully mastered the essentials game. The Villian Hoodie has been a staple in many guys wardrobes for a couple of years now. The Villian hoodie has a fitted/tailored fit and is made out of french terry. It features riri side zips down the sides of the hoodie which reveal an inside kangaroo pocket. This hoodie comes in multiple colors is great for layering or as a standalone piece. It is a perfect essential hoodie for the fall and I highly recommend it.

Champion Reverse Weave Hoodie

For those of you looking for the best hoodie at the cheapest price this is it. It literally is just the most basic hoodie you can possibly get but it's super warm and comfortable. Nothing fancy on the hoodie just a solid good hoodie. Features a heavyweight fleece for ultimate warmth and a kangaroo pocket.
